About Me

My Story

I value hearing all of the unique stories and experiences that my clients share so vulnerably. I experience the raw, real, and sacred parts of my clients’ lives, and it’s only fair that you get to know the one you are sharing your story with as well!

I was born and raised in Henderson, NC, until I moved to Greenville, NC, where I earned both my bachelor's and master’s degrees at East Carolina University. My own traumatic experiences have led me to find my passion in becoming a therapist. I know the feeling of loneliness, fear, and insecurity all too well, but through my own work, I have transformed these feelings into empowerment, safety, and strength. The work is not always easy, but it is always worth it.

My Professional Experience

After graduating in 2022 with my Master’s of Science in Clinical Counseling and Addiction at East Carolina University, I began my licensed professional work at PORT Health, specializing in alcohol/drug addiction, folx involved in the justice system, and trauma. Before my licensed work, I worked as a mental health technician at Brynn Marr Hospital, as well as a residential counselor at Eckerd Connects, working with teen girls in trauma healing and addiction recovery.

Where I am Now

I currently see clients via telehealth through Inner Source Therapy, a private practice based in New Bern, NC. As a telehealth therapist, I have the pleasure of being able to work with clients anywhere in North Carolina. My clients get to be in their comfort spaces, and I get to wear my fuzzy slippers.

A Few Fun Facts

I recently moved to Virginia with my fiancé, and we love exploring new places, activities, and food spots together. Staying active is important to me—I especially enjoy weightlifting and trying out new ways to move and play. When I’m not at the gym, you can usually find me watching my favorite comfort shows/movies. On weekends, I like to experiment with baking cakes (even if decorating isn’t my strong suit yet!).
